it's always 80 in the summer in altorff

Mike decided to cut this large wild cherry tree log (that fell off the cherry tree last summer and barely missed smushing him) into rough planks with his chainsaw Tuesday morning. After all, the chainsaw was out and warmed up - he'd had it over at Kim and Joel's earlier to cut up an offending branch that had come down during a storm Monday night and shut off their power all night. I got to hold the cherry log steady while he chainsawed it. I still have all of my fingers and just one nub!
