Day 7: We took the day off from boatbuilding

We had a dinner engagement with a colleague from the university, so we didn't do any work on the boat today. On Day 8, we will wire the shear panels in place and prepare the structure for filleting. That's the plan, anyway. Meanwhile, I am dreaming of our Christmas return to Cumberland. Here's a photo from the last time we were there: If all goes as planned we'll be spending Christmas on the island. It will probably be just us old folks this time but hey! Maybe we'll take the kayak and paddle over from St. Mary's!!
